Network System Administrator
Provide network administration for 300+ users and 5 remote sites in a CISCO environment. This includes phone, email, remote and direct end-user support for all hardware and software related issues. Designs and modifies computer information systems to maintain and improve operating efficiency of LAN, WAN, AS/400 connectivity, and other company systems. Performs system maintenance on a day-to-day basis. Evaluates problems and modifies documentations for work procedures. Handles all information with a high degree of confidentiality. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, installs, and modifies workstation computers, servers, PBX and digital phone system, voicemail and connections to active networks. Diagnosis problems, performs corrective action, and trains employees as needed. Performs system backups on internal and external servers. Provides end users support for all LAN/WAN based applications.
Strong hands-on administration experience on Windows 2003 server - AD, DNS, DHCP, OU, Group Policy; Microsoft Clustering, TCP/IP, LDAP, HTTP, Distribution list, Windows folder security.
Strong troubleshooting skills in a Windows 2003 environment - Event log analysis, installation and administration of Windows Server 2003, including user setup and defining roles, performance tuning, backup and restore, security monitoring, registry and AD scripting.
Excellent technical knowledge of the Windows 2000, XP and 2003 Enterprise Server; Experience on Linux and AS400 Platform are a big plus.
Working experience with SAP R3 or BW or other data base administration experience is plus. Web development skill is plus.
